Q: Which photos can I use for my Portrait?
A: Before submitting your reference photos, It is important to remember these things to achieve desired results.
–Send photos that flatter the photographed person. If you don’t like the way they look, if you think that the smile doesn’t look real, or the nose looks too big, please use another photo.
–Make sure the pictures are not too dark and taken on a well lit room.
-Make sure the face are clear and are not blurry.
-People on the photo should be facing front looking at the camera unless unless you want them drawn from a different angle an appropriate photo should be supplied as well.
-Try to send photos with the highest resolution. If your photo is less than 100 KB size, its resolution may be too low for our artists to create a good quality portrait from it.The resolution should not be less than 500×100 pixels for a close up photo of a single person. For reference photos were the person to be drawn is together with in a group, minimum resolution should be 1000×2000. The resolution of the reference photo is is a vital aspect to get the best results.
-If possible, do not send selfies. The front camera of your phone has a lower resolution versus the camera at the back. Have someone take a photo of you or the person you wish to be drawn.
-We can only use one picture per person to draw from facially- we cannot use multiple photos to capture the likeness.
-It’s on the customers behalf to follow our photo requirements to place an order. If the photo sent by the customer is unclear, the customer acknowledges that the final result might be not similar with how they look on real person.Our artists will use these reference photos the best way they can to achieve likeness regardless of its quality. They are only limited to what they can see. The end result will all depend on it. Don’t expect the artists to make the person look much better than he looks in the photo 🙂
Q: The people I’d like to be drawn are on separate photos. Can you draw them as one?
A: Of course, We draw people using different photos and incorporate them in one portrait. This is the kind of thing we do.
Q: I saw your ad and I loved it! Can I have my drawing done on the same style.
A: We will always do our best to make sure you’re happy and get the style of drawing that you want. If you want it the same style as you see on our ads, please indicate it on your order or upload a sample. We work with multiple artists but we cannot make any promises as each commission normally goes to the next artist that is available to draw.
Q: How long will it take for me to receive my order.
A: The digital image file takes quicker that the prints that we post. Timeframes depend on a variety of factors and as such we are unable to give specific time/delivery dates, but drawings would usually take 10-14 business days to finish the portrait depending on how busy the artists are. If you want it posted, it will take 3 to 7 days more. If you need the portraits asap, we advise you to order a digital copy only. If you want it rushed, we can have your order an express service which will give it a priority over other orders and will improve the turnaround time.
Please note that during exceptionally busy times orders may take longer than specified, but we do everything in our power to minimize any such delays.
Q:Can I make amendments to my order after I have ordered (like adding text or extra photos to be drawn from, for example)?
A: Most cases we can but it’s never a guarantee. Please make sure everything is all set and final before placing the order. Once production has begun, we seldom make changes for technical and administrative reasons
Q: Can I change my delivery address?
A: We’re really sorry, but on the advice of PayPal we can only deliver to the address that is connected to your PayPal account.
Q.What’s the maximum people you can draw?
A:We can draw as many people as you like, there are no limits. Our record high is 50 people in 1 portrait.
Q: I want to upload more photos than the website allows, what should I do?
You can make the order as normal then send the pictures to our email email@example.com. Send us a message telling you’ve already paid for the order and you are just sending the photos. Don’t forget to provide the reference order number.
Since the website only allows the option for up to 6 people, you may go ahead and do two separate orders and then make a note on one of the orders that you have made two separate orders but want them as one drawing. (i.e. if you wanted 12 people, make one order for 6 people and one order for 6) Just make sure to indicate the order number of your first order so we can find it right away. Don’t forget to provide the reference order number of the first order.
Q: I have placed an order but would like to change it. Can I do this?
A: We rarely do changes once the order has been processed. Please try to make sure you’ve selected the photos you want and thought through all aspects of the order before placing it. Though in some instances we can consider doing some additional instructions as long as the order has not been passed to our artists yet. Of course you can always ask, then we’ll see what we can do, but we make no promises in this regard.
Q: If I don’t like the drawing can I get a refund?
A: Satisfied customers are what make us the best custom portrait site. As long as the photo requirements above are adhered, there should be no reason that you won’t like your drawing. All of our artworks are drawn to a great likeness and to your description so we’re sure you will love the result. In the rare case that your not happy with the portrait, we will do our utmost to work with you and do modifications until you are happy with it. Unfortunately, we are not able to give refunds on any orders once production has begun.
Q: I have an idea for a great drawing but I don’t see it on your samples. Can you still help me?
A: Absolutely! We love some avant garde ideas! If you have special requirements just drop us an email or message us on Facebook and we’ll be very happy to see what we can do.

Returns and Refunds
We are, of course, happy to refund in cases where no work has been done yet. We are also happy to make amendments (redraw facial features, change eye colors, etc) to ensure the customer is happy with their purchase.
Due to personal customization or design of these products, under no circumstances will we be able to issue returns, exchanges, or reimbursements on items that have already been drawn as these items are no use to anyone other than the purchaser. If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us to discuss further.
Please be specific when ordering personalized products/items. We will follow whatever instructions you have on your order, so please be precise, simple and to the point. Ultimately, our artist can only draw based on what they can see on the reference photo you have submitted. We are unable to change the way a person looks by changing the persons features, facial expressions, angles and still achieve a good likeness. To get the best results, please comply with our photo requirements above.
It is important to note that these drawings are not intended to be hyper-realistic and as such, there may be variances in shapes/colors and likeness. If the picture meets our standard for quality and likeness, we are sadly unable to offer amendments or refunds.
These products are hand drawn using traditional methods (charcoal, pencil. watercolor) and in some cases digital using a Wacom tablet or similar modern method. Even if some are done digitally, we do not do shortcuts and guarantee that these items are drawn by hand and requires artistic skill. We do not use any program, filters or any applications to make your drawing. We work with selected artists world wide to keep our drawings affordable. We receive digital image/high quality scans from them and print it on high quality art card to customers.
Fee for drawing in Digital Only format and extra Fee for Paper copy
The cost of an order consists of two separate parts. The first is the Cost per person drawn, for example, if you pay for 3 people to be drawn you will receive a Digital Image sent to you by email or Facebook messenger. The second part is the extra fee for a physical copy (in A3 or A4 size) of your drawing posted to your home address. If for any reason there is a problem with the physical delivery of your A4 or A3 paper copy, then we are happy to resend another copy of your drawing or in some circumstances refund this extra fee. In such circumstances, we are unable to refund the per person cost which was charged for the digital image, as this has already been provided to the customer.
We make commercially reasonable efforts to meet the estimated delivery date we do our best to adhere to these, but there may be occasions where there is excessive pending work due to a large number of orders, particularly on special dates such as Christmas, Valentine’s day, etc..
If you want to follow up on your order, please make sure it’s been more than 10 working days for the time you’ve made it.
